Give Your Child a Head Start This School Year
45 small-group classes covering Grades 5-12 Math, English, Science and AP/IB. Classes start mid-September, online or in person in North York. Small classes, limited seats.
Your Child Walks Into Class Already Knowing the Material
Reach-ahead group courses in Math, Science, and English. Our experts teach the tricky topics before school does, so your child has time to digest them, room to make mistakes safely, and the confidence of the class expert when it counts. Whatever curriculum your child's school follows, they learn it here first.
Time to Digest the Hard Parts
No scrambling the night before a test. The difficult ideas get the time they deserve.
A Safe Place to Make Mistakes
Your child makes their mistakes with us first, so school is the second try, not the first.
The Expert of the Class
They arrive knowing the material, answer with confidence in front of teachers and peers, and enjoy the subject more because of it.
A Foundation That Compounds
Confidence and interest now, and a strong base for AP, IB, and university later.
Why Parents Choose Exploring Scholar
Not drop-in tutoring. A teaching system your child can grow with for years.
A Leveled System, Learning Ahead
Our Math ladder runs from SuperFoundation up to L3, aligned with the Ontario curriculum. Students are placed at the level that matches their ability and learn material before it comes up at school.
A Parent App, Full Transparency
Our parent app shows whether each homework was handed in and how your child scored, in near real time. No more relying on secondhand reports.
Small Classes, Real Feedback
Class sizes are strictly limited, teachers mark every assignment themselves, and our academic team reports progress back to parents regularly.
Interactive Online, As Good As In Person
Crystal-clear interactive shared screens and interactive activities in every lesson, with live questions and instant feedback. Our online classes are every bit as engaging as being in the room, if not better. Weeknight and weekend slots, plus in-person seats in North York for select classes.
Every Lesson Is Built With Intention
Our courses are designed by expert educators with decades in the classroom, including textbook authors and contributors to curriculum standards. Programs are organized by top curriculum designers and taught by experienced, engaging teachers. And your child learns alongside classmates who are every bit as accomplished and encouraging as they are.
Homework Review
Every lesson opens by working through questions from the previous class, so no confusion carries forward.
Easy to Hard
New concepts build step by step from familiar to challenging, combined with drills that are targeted and genuinely effective.
Practice, Live Feedback
Students practice during class and get direct, immediate feedback from the teacher as they go.
Homework That Sticks
After each class, additional practice questions reinforce the week's material while it is fresh.
Detailed Grading
Every submission comes back carefully graded with detailed feedback, so progress is always visible.
In person or online, students finally experience an education that is built for them, suited to them, and genuinely interesting to them.

What Parents Say
"My son had always been strong in math, but AP Calculus BC was a different beast. After one semester with Exploring Scholar he scored a 5 and walked into first-year university calculus without skipping a beat. The instructors do not just drill problems. They make sure students understand why the method works."
"We enrolled our daughter in Grade 7 because her school math was moving too fast and she was starting to lose confidence. The sessions were calm, patient, and completely tailored to how she learns. By Grade 9 she was in the enriched stream. Starting early made all the difference."
"We just finished our first math class. The teacher is excellent: clear and well organized, explains something once and it clicks, and so patient."
"After her very first class she ran over and told me, 'Mom, I love Math!' She loves how the teacher explains the logic behind everything."
"Honestly beyond what we expected. The English teacher marks his homework word by word, sentence by sentence. Good teachers are hard to find, and this school has them."
"Three AP 5s: Calculus BC, Chemistry, and Physics. All thanks to these teachers."
